Without Power in NY due to the snowstorm

So, there was a snowstorm in NY on Saturday. I took a few pictures, and posted one on tumblr.
As I've already told some of you, I lost internet and cable late Saturday night, then power completely Sunday morning. In my town, having no power also means no running water. We've been using the fireplace for heat, and I've been showering at friend's houses.
School was cancelled on Monday, and the town tried to cancel Halloween, though many people still went out anyway. We also had a two hour delay for school today (where I'm writing this from). I'm supposed to get power back by late Wednesday.

Back from NYCC 2011. The con definitely had it's ups and downs. Overall, though, despite the epic suck at times, and overpriced food (5 dollars for a shake and 6 for popcorn), it was nice meeting new people and hanging out with old. Lots of epic cosplayers, too.
I cosplayed a casual!England from Hetalia with a really huge Union Jack hat on Saturday, and Vriska from Homestuck on Sunday (I probably won't post pictures).
I bought a lot of cool art prints and buttons there, and I'm thinking about getting some cyberlox online to wear at AnimeNEXT.
I'll be dressing in my casual!England costume again for Hetalia Day NYC on Saturday. I really hope

France/England recap, school, NYCC/NYAF

So, I'm back from England and France (a little late) . All and all, it was an amazing trip. It only really rained once the whole time we were there.
So, I can't really do a day by day thing, so I'll just write a few bullet points. I'll talk about school and fandom stuff after.
Normandy:
-I found the museums there really interesting, and seeing the French perspective was something I wasn't really used to and found interesting.
